Which of the following is a near universal text format?

  • Plain Text
  • PDF
  • Word 97-2003
  • Rich Text Format

Which of the following is a near universal text format?

EXPLANATION

Word 97-2003 Document So you've got Word 2010, but your parents are still plugging along with Word 97. The latter can't open documents created by the former (not without a converter, anyway), but at least Word lets you save files using the older formats. Some kinds of formatting may get lost in translation, but this should work for most kinds of documents.

Rich Text Format RTF might best be described as a "universal word-processing format," as it's supported by just about every word processor. However, unlike plain text, it retains basic formatting information, like font sizes and styles.

PDF Adobe's Portable Document Format also has universal appeal, as it can be opened using any number of viewers (including, most commonly, Adobe Reader). You'd use PDF to produce your document in a read-only format, meaning it couldn't easily be edited. It's also a good way to distribute documents online, as most browsers can view PDFs without the need to download them fist.

Plain Text Just like it sounds, this format saves only the raw text--no formatting, no hidden codes, just your words. You might use this to export text that needs to be imported into another program, like a blog tool or text editor--something that won't like all of Word's underlying extras.

In Windows, If you want to put a windows on a side, what key command will move it for you?

  • Windows-Directional arrow
  • Ctrl-Shift-Directional arrow
  • Alt-Shift-Directional arrow
  • Ctrl-Windows-Directional arrow
In Windows, If you want to put a windows on a side, what key command will move it for you?

EXPLANATION

Windows 7

This feature is built in, and it's called Aero Snap. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts to get the behavior you want:

  • Win + moves the current window to the left half of the screen.
  • Win + moves the current window to the right half of the screen.
  • Win + maximes the current window.

Windows XP and Vista

GridMove allows you to setup regions to snap windows to via a shortcut key. I mapped Win + 1 to move a window to the left half of the screen and Win + 2 to use the right half.
AeroSnap makes Windows 7's native keyboard shortcuts available in Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Mac OS X

Cinch, SizeUp (both unlimited free trials) and TwoUp (discontinued – available here) from Irradiated Software all accomplish this task perfectly. SizeUp adds some extra features, including multiple monitor support.

How many sectors does a 320gb hard disk have?

How many sectors does a 320gb hard disk have?
  • 574 billion sectors
  • 294 billion sectors
  • 394 billion sectors
  • 4 billion sectors

How many sectors does a 320gb hard disk have?

EXPLANATION

A 320 GB disk does not have 394 billion sectors. It doesn't even hold 394 billion bytes (which is about 366.9 GiB, or 394 GB in hard disk manufacturer speak).

A 320 GB disk will have (320 [GB] * 1 073 741 824 [b/GB] / 512 [b/sector]) = approximately 671 million sectors, assuming 512 byte sectors. If it uses 4 KiB sectors, the corresponding number is about 83.9 million sectors, but that's unlikely for a drive of that size; 512 byte sectors would be more reasonable to expect for such a drive.

This means that something isn't working as expected. It's hard to tell from your question exactly what is wrong, but it's a pretty safe bet that something is wrong. I just hope you didn't somehow confuse the source and target drive and it's really complaining because it ran out of space to write the data to...

Approximately how many times can a DVD-RW or DVD+RW disc be rewritten?

  • 1 time

Approximately how many times can a DVD-RW or DVD+RW disc be rewritten?

EXPLANATION

As is the case with other optical storage media using phase-change technology there is a limit to the number of times the recording layer in a DVD-RW, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM disc can be reliably switched between its crystalline and amorphous states. It is estimated that a DVD-RW or DVD+RW disc can be rewritten approximately 1000 times and a DVD-RAM 100,000 times. In addition, these formats (under certain circumstances) employ defect management schemes to actively verify data and skip over or relocate problems to a spare area of the disc.

Which Cmdlet is used to pair an SBC with for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing?

EXPLANATION

Pair the SBC to Direct Routing Service
The following are the three high-level steps to let you connect, or pair, the SBC to the Direct Routing interface:
  • Connect to Skype for Business Online admin center using PowerShell
  • Pair the SBC
  • Validate the pairing
Connect to Skype for Business Online by using PowerShell

You can use a PowerShell session connected to the tenant to pair the SBC to the Direct Routing interface. To open a PowerShell session, please follow the steps outlined in Set up your computer for Windows PowerShell.

After you establish a remote PowerShell session, please validate that you can see the commands to manage the SBC. To validate the commands, type or copy/paste in the following in the PowerShell session and press Enter:

gcm *onlinePSTNGateway*

Your command will return the four functions shown here that will let you manage the SBCs.
CommandType    Name                       Version    Source
———–    —-                       ——-    ——
Function       Get-CsOnlinePSTNGateway    1.0        tmp_v5fiu1no.wxt
Function       New-CsOnlinePSTNGateway    1.0        tmp_v5fiu1no.wxt
Function       Remove-CsOnlinePSTNGateway 1.0        tmp_v5fiu1no.wxt
Function       Set-CsOnlinePSTNGateway    1.0        tmp_v5fiu1no.wxt

Pair the SBC to the tenant

To pair the SBC to the tenant, in the PowerShell session type the following and press Enter:
New-CsOnlinePSTNGateway -Fqdn <SBC FQDN> -SipSignallingPort <SBC SIP Port> -MaxConcurrentSessions <Max Concurrent Sessions the SBC can handle> -Enabled $true
